Seals Class enjoyed an exciting apparatus session yesterday. The children demonstrated fantastic problem-solving skills, faced their fears with confidence, and used their balance and agility to successfully navigate the trail. Well done, Seals!

Exciting News from Seals Class! Today we had our very first Mystery Reader, and what a treat it was! Sadie's mum surprised us by popping in to share our end-of-day story. The children were thrilled, and we absolutely loved having a special guest bring a story to life for us! If you would like to be a Mystery Reader for Seals Class, we'd be delighted to have you! Please speak to Miss Waters to get it booked in.

Children from the school joined the community this evening for Port Isaac's lantern parade, helping celebrate the village's festive light switch-on. With their handmade lanterns glowing warmly against the evening sky, they brought a wonderful sense of magic and excitement to the event. Gathering on the Platt, the children sang beautifully to the community. Thank you to our families for braving the weather to represent our school. A heartfelt thank-you goes to Caroline Cleave for working so creatively with the children to make the stunning lanterns that lit up the night. #CommunitySpirit #christmas2025 #portisaac

Celebration Assembly – Port Isaac Academy Today we celebrated the incredible achievements of our pupils who continue to shine by living our school values of Aspiration, Resilience, Respect, Joy and Community. A huge well done to our attendance superstars and to all those who have shown fantastic commitment to their learning and our academy community. We are extremely proud of our pupils who took part in the Aqua Splash Gala true ambassadors for Port Isaac Academy! Their teamwork, positivity, and sportsmanship were outstanding and a brilliant example of our values in action. Well done, everyone you make our academy proud every single day!

Bringing science learning to life! Year 5&6 found out about periscopes this afternoon and how valuable they were in the First World War. They worked together using a net, two mirrors and some sellotape and created their own. Each child from the group went into the 'trench' and read the secret message on the board.
